Josephine fell in love with a floral design on a piece of stationary that then set the tone for the floral palette of her wedding day.
A rich elegant colour palette featuring navy, blush pinks, gold metallic and pop of fuchsia pink cemented the brief for the styling choices with David Austin roses and pretty peonies as the stand out blooms on the day.
Hosting the celebrations at the one central location for both ceremony and reception was an integral need for the couple, and many guests would be travelling significant distances to attend the comprehensive accommodation options proved to be a winner for Josephine and Christopher’s needs. As with most couples, Josephine and Christopher’s plan for an outdoor ceremony celebration, delivered good weather and showcased the stunning weather on the Sunshine Coast. A stunning floral arbour was created by Magnolia Grove Florist, who created a floral feature that accented the summery colour palette beautifully. The ceremony arbour was then re-positioned above the bridal table to provide a focal feature for the bride and groom.
When we asked Josie and Chris what was the most memorable part of their wedding day, we loved the response from these two!
Josie: ‘Getting to walk back down the aisle with my husband surrounded by all our friends and family cheering for us. It was finally official! Also – absolutely nailing our first dance and pulling off the final move despite a long train and slippery shoes! #Chrosie nailed it!’
Chris: ‘Taking 5 minutes after signing the registry to really get to enjoy the moment with my bride. Also – surprising our mothers with the job of signing the registry for us was a great moment. They had absolutely no idea!’
