Tegan and Matthew planned their wedding day celebrations around their love for family, good food and wonderful wine. The couple had previously stayed at Spicers Clovelly Estate and found the service exceptional, and the location outstanding. They loved dining at ‘The Long Apron’, Clovelly’s hatted fine dining restaurant, and Matt and Tegan decided they didn’t actually need to look at any other venue, and the wedding date was set! With such large families it was really attractive that Clovelly was able to cater for the enormous guest list, and many guests were also able to be accommodated on site which was a huge attraction.

To adequately cater for the large guest numbers a beautiful clear marquee was set on the front lawn of Spicers Clovelly Estate, and styling and flowers were integral elements for Tegan and Matt.  Matt was also very involved in the planning, especially the flowers, and Tegan really appreciated his input and decisions. The French inspired hinterland property is so beautifully appointed so they did want to keep things elegant and simplified with florals being their main feature for the day.

Another benefit was being able to hold the ceremony and the reception on the one property,  to keep the momentum of the day going and make it easier for their guests. The library deck hosted the gorgeous ceremony and the team at Mondo Floral Designs decorated the chandeliers with decadent flowers and entrance pedestal designs that created the perfect bloom accent for the beautiful beginning of the day’s celebrations.

The clear marquee featured long dining tables with glamorous linen cloths and beautiful decor, and separated floral garlands were created for the reception, with mid pastel blooms and small pops of blue, the fresh and modern colour palette created a pretty gardenesque floral vibe within the marquee, and kept the floral impact long and low.

Family is a big focus for both Tegan and Matt, and Tegan remembers fondly the delight in I having their nieces and nephews involved in the ceremony, and all the cuteness that it brought to the day.

We loved this beautiful wedding celebration, filled with so much love, laughter and family memories.
